Overview
Calenso is an online booking platform that lets customers book appointments with an organisation’s staff through widgets in the organisation’s own design. It covers room and resource booking, video and phone meetings, questionnaires before the appointment, automated reminders and analytics, and connects to calendars and other business software. Published case studies include health insurers, a car importer and cantonal administrations.
Calenso says its servers are hosted in Switzerland in an ISO 27001 and BSI C5 certified data centre, while its privacy policy says personal data is stored primarily in Switzerland and the EU and names AWS as a hosting provider. Prices are only available on request, so it is not aimed at individuals looking for a simple personal booking page.
Calenso AG is based in Rothenburg near Lucerne. Since 2025 it has been part of jrni Holdings, Inc., a US customer-interaction group, and is therefore not Swiss-owned.
