Overview
DeepBox is a cloud platform for storing, organising and sharing business documents. Documents are kept in “boxes” that can be shared with colleagues, clients or other companies, whose identity can be verified with DeepCloud’s DeepID app. Uploaded invoices, receipts and other documents can be read by the DeepO data-capture AI and passed to an ERP system; DeepBox is natively integrated with Abacus and AbaNinja and connects to other business software via an API. Invoices can be paid through connections to Swiss banks, and DeepSign electronic signatures are built in.
The service is aimed largely at Swiss SMEs and fiduciaries, with smaller plans for individuals and families. Apps are available for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. DeepCloud states that DeepBox documents are hosted only on servers in Switzerland by an ISO 27001-certified provider that it does not name, and that its cloud services hold ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification.
DeepBox is a document exchange and processing platform rather than a classic file-sync service. Storage is allotted per plan, from 1 GB on the free plans to 5 TB on the largest organisation plan, and features such as AI data capture, workflows and signatures are billed separately from the base plan.
