Overview
mailXpert is an email marketing service developed by mailXpert GmbH in Zurich. It covers newsletter design with templates, contact management and segmentation, scheduled sending, automation flows, sign-up forms, surveys and campaign reporting. Connectors exist for Abacus and bexio, other applications can be linked through Zapier, and an API is available in the larger plans or as an option. The related service mailomat provides a sending API and SMTP relay for transactional email from other applications.
mailXpert states that all data is stored in data centres in Switzerland, with a backup at a second Swiss site, and that its sending servers are certified by the Certified Senders Alliance (CSA). The company reports ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification. Besides the hosted service, mailXpert offers installations in a data centre chosen by the customer, starting at CHF 15,000; in these hybrid setups outgoing email is still sent through mailXpert’s infrastructure.
There is no free plan. The LITE plan costs CHF 1,590 per year for 240,000 emails and one automation flow, plus a one-time setup fee of CHF 390; larger plans add more volume, flows and API access. A 30-day free test account is available. For small organisations, the same company runs Swiss Newsletter, a lower-priced service with a free tier.
