Overview
Beekeeper is a mobile-first platform for frontline and deskless workers that aims to replace paper-based and manual processes. The app combines messaging, announcements and surveys with shift schedules, pay slips, training, tasks, checklists and file sharing, and connects to HR systems for processes such as time-off requests and onboarding. Mobile apps are available for iOS and Android.
The company was founded in Zurich in 2012 as an ETH Zurich spin-off. In July 2025 it combined with LumApps, a French intranet software company majority owned by funds managed by the UK private equity firm Bridgepoint. LumApps presents Beekeeper as part of its “AI Employee Hub” and says a unified product will roll out in phases over 12 to 18 months, while existing customers keep their contracts, logins and support contacts.
Beekeeper’s former website now redirects to LumApps. Current information on where Beekeeper customer data is hosted could not be verified, and prices are only available on request.
